Hola, Unfxcked Freelanceršš¼!
Welcome to another week of getting unstuck, taking control, and going pro as a freelancer. In case you missed my last newsletter, see the full archive ofĀ previous issues here.
If you follow me on social media, you may have already seen this already. So, I’m going to keep this as brief as possible.
Recently, I pondered the union between setbacks, comebacks, and success.
Not literally, but mathematically.
Just like in a mathematical equation, where every variable plays an important role, I believe any freelancer’s journey can be seen through a similar lens.
Imagine every setback as ‘x’ – a variable filled with challenges and disappointments.
Now, picture each moment you rise stronger, smarter, and more motivated as ‘x+1’.
And then assume your success is the sum of these efforts, a proof of your resilience, represented as ‘x+1+x+1+…’.
Basically, success is the evidence you need to show that you had a comeback against every setback you experienced.
Understanding this entire equation as a freelancer can transform how you perceive your struggles and wins.
While your resilience stays constant, it is what pushes you forward, turning every L (loss) into stepping stones toward your W (win).
These setbacks might be about you losing a big client, enduring dry spells, or facing countless rejections, but they are not roadblocks.
As freelancers, we often find ourselves lost in different challenges, questioning if the setbacks are signs to quit freelancing.
However, what we don’t know is that each setback, no matter how bad, is a chance to shoot again, an opportunity to learn, and an opening for growth.
Success isnāt just a static point on the horizon, but a dynamic, evolving entity that requires continuous effort to attain.
Every ‘x’ holds a lesson, a chance to redefine your strategies, upgrade your skills, rewrite and strengthen your pitch, and correct your mindset.
With every ‘x+1’, you are not only bouncing back; you are growing, expanding, and becoming a version of yourself that’s more resilient, resourceful, and relentless.
That’s a wrap, Unfxcked Freelancer!
